Sarah Williams, Labyrinth (1986)

Sarah (Jennifer Connelly) is the protagonist of Jim Henson's 1980s fantasy film costarring David Bowie as Jareth, the well-endowed, glittery king of the goblins.

To make her iconic masquerade ball look, I took a thrifted vintage wedding dress and added sleeves, an overskirt, and additional embellishments for an authentic 1980s look. The wig was styled using a lace front base wig from Amazon, with hair accessories made using found objects and beading wire. Photos by Snaily Photography.
